Percentage Ownership

If there are 100 million shares and you own 15 million shares you own 15% of the company.

If there is a 10 for 1 inverse split then you own 1.5 million shares and there are 10 million shares outstanding.

You own the same percentage of the company after the inverse split.

Sprott never owned 15% of the company to begin with, only 1.5% as previously mentioned.  The same thing happened to me where my broker did not have my account updated and it appeared like I owned the same amount of shares after the reverse split.  It was amazing because I had the same number of shares and the price was 10 times higher.  Of course, my shares were a few days updated. ...more
