RE:RE:RE:cc Q3 2019Blackriver, What are you kidding me? I am supposed to be traumatized by a 2 cent loss?? Nonsense!
And this story about bad news at Great Panther is a bunch of baloney. The stock is at 52 cents because a bunch of short term money has been shorting it.
On Jim Bannantine's departure, it was telegraphed last quarter when Jeffrey Mason showed up on the call and received TOP Billing over the CEO!
On the bad news story, let's see. On page 34 of the financial report, it lists the 3 month mine income for Tucano. Tucano made a profit of $1.35 million USD for Q3. GMC made a profit of $47,000 USD after tax, and Topia made a profit of $434,000 USD. So all three operating mines made a profit in Q3 in spite of $8 million USD in stripping costs at Tucano, and back tax payments for taxes that Beadell didn't pay between 2014 and 2018.
Why compare GPL to USAS. Because it is the closest peer company and makes for a fair 3 mine to 3 mine comparison with 2 silver mines and 1 gold mine each.
USAS made 16,732 gold equivalent ounces converting USAS silver equivalent at 80:1, and GPL produced exactly 3 times more with gold equivalent sales of 50,118 ounces gold equivalent. USAS has 100 million shares out, and GPL has 300 million shares out. So both companies have exactly the same gold equivalent revenue per share.
Compared metals production USAS versus GPL
USAS Gold Production NIL Great Panther Gold Production 39,651 oz
USAS Silver Production 299,421 oz Great Panther Silver Production 418,032 oz
Q3 GPL gold revenue was $62.8 million USD compared with Zero dollars in gold revenue at USAS.
USAS Lead Production 6,766,804 lb Great Panther Lead Production 1,187,956 lb
USAS Zinc Production 10,103,688 lb Great Panther Zinc Production 1,518,556 lb
In terms of consolidated AISC
USAS Q3 2019 number is $23.01 USD/oz of silver
GMC AISC $9.82 USD/oz Ag, and
Topia AISC was $16.66 USD/oz Ag
Tucano AISC in Q3 including $210 USD/oz in pre stripping cost and including a one time $127 USD/oz for one time payment of TFRM back taxes = $1349 USD/oz. Back out those two charges and AISC would have come in at $1012 USD/oz.
