cc Q3 2019

So far no webcast of Q3 on the website of GPR.

Gandolph, hope you've asked some questions to the board on Thursday.....

Very disappointed in the cy at this point of time.

Look like they're an easy takeover at a Market cap of 215mio.

The webcast can be found on the homepage. To summarize,: Focus on free cashflow and Tucano (operational improvements and resource update after the large drill program is finished late Q1.) Let's hope they wait with with Corriancha developments, since they won,'t be able to finance the project before 2021 from free cashflow.

Nergy, The initial capex to get Coricancha up and running is $9 million USD.  A $225 USD POG price increase is all that is needed to fund this restart in one quarter's time.  Coricancha has been a $1.5 million USD per quarter drag on Great Panther's financials, and IMHO they need to get this mine up and running ASAP.

Elgounakid, The Q3 conference call is on Great Panther’s web site.  The only callers that were allowed to ask questions were a few analysts.  There were no private investor questions allowed, and it seems that all of Jim Bannantine’s videos on youtube have been rendered inactive.  It was a classic Boardroom coup, where a bean counter replaced an accomplished engineer who ...more

Hmmmn Ganndollph, you seem to be mesmerized in benchmarking against USAS as an excuse.  If properly diversified you should only be traumatized by GPL loss. The PM market has risen very nicely since April.  Why not leave this lone comparison alone and focus on why GPL is where it is and how Bannatine made off with $1M a year.  He had to be fired but concurrent with Quarterly release? ...more

Blackriver,  What are you kidding me? I am supposed to be traumatized by a 2 cent loss??  Nonsense! And this story about bad news at Great Panther is a bunch of baloney.  The stock is at 52 cents because a bunch of short term money has been shorting it. On Jim Bannantine's departure, it was telegraphed last quarter when Jeffrey Mason showed up on the call and received TOP ...more

Ganndolph how low do you see this going? My average is in the 80s cent range so I'm pretty far underwater. I'm not going to average down but I'm not selling any either.....I don't understand why this stock had gotten beaten down so hard....they're making money not losing money

Eap5522, GPL came off the 53.5 cent low in November 2018, then ran up to a high of $1.19 USD in March, then did a 54 cent retrace to 65 cents, forming the AB leg of an ABC leg down. The retrace of the move down was a 61.8 percent rfetrace to 98 cents.  Subtract 54 cents from 98 cents and the target for a 1:1 move down is 44 cents. That would set up a butterfly buy pattern at 44 cents. Since ...more

Blackriver, So help me understand your criteria for excellent management. When Great Panther delivers a profit from each of their 2 silver mines and Tucano delivers $58.245 million USD in gold, that is bad management. But when Blasutti delivers a $3.059 million dollar loss at Cosala, a $3.584 million dollar loss at Galena, and a $354,000 new loss at Relief Canyon, plus a $1.77 million dollar ...more

Your posts are enjoyable to read but not sure of the content value as your stock pic track record appears lacking.  As a professed holder of GPL, ORVMF, MNDJF, SRCRF and a non-holder of USAS, your reassurance warms us on the USAS board. But we knew 4 months ago this quarter was a trade sideways or down as was last quarter and next year was the go-ahead. Past GPL CEO left with a big golden ...more
