RE: RE: What Guyana is worth to GSA...Actually, $3 is correct... I should have changed the '120 million bbls' to '12 million bbls' as GSA's 10% in-ground share.

According to the article, the 'in-ground' value is $20 per bbl.  Theoretically, GSA can sell their 10% interest for the $3 per share... assuming of course they hit oil... 120 million bbls of oil.

Another way of measuring the value is 'per flowing bbl'.  In Alberta, I understand a flowing 'bpd' is around $28,000 so 1000 bpd values that flow as $28,000,000. As there is no oil flows yet, the in-ground value is a good measure.
