Sunlife

SunlifeI have to agree that the Sunlife news will be beneficial to Tetra. It makes sense that any coverage will need to follow suit with what is already in place. Drugs that are currently covered by Insurance/Benefits will have a DIN. Not ALL drugs are covered by benefits, meaning that just because a drug has been approved and DIN in check, it may not be covered.
Changing gears for a second, my doctor has perscribed me MJ. I currently purchase through Tweed, don't really like the selection that they have because the majority of MJ is high THC levels, they do have high CBD but not in the seleciton as the high THC strains. For this I have chosen to grow my own and supply myself with the strains that suit my needs best. With that being said, I feel that the majority of LP's out there have obviously geared themselves toward the 'recreational' market maybe minus Aphria. Doctors have no other choices/backing info/definitive results what to perscribe. Its basically patients figuring it out for themselves what works for them. It isn't that broad of a spectrum for other drugs is it??? They have specific drugs for specific issues. What does that leave for Tetra? A straight black and white outline for their product and what it can help. My hope is that as the line between 'medicine' and 'recreational' is divided, doctors will lean toward the more logical approach as clinical trials come to light. I have spoken to individuals in the healthcare industry and just like any drug, misusing MJ can be unfavorable. It can cause massive anxiety, depression, paranoia and even lead to suicide with patients. This is going to come to light the more and more people are using it. And thats where a carefully guided process as TBP's can eliminate these negative effects and focus in on whats really needed to treat the specific issue.
So with that, I believe that Sunlife and other similar companies will scrutinize the products(MJ) they will compensate their customers for just as they do with their current ones.
