When it comes to the patents and DIN process I don’t have a great understanding. Could you explain what the following means? It comes from the NR from the patent announcement. “The Orphan Drug Designation was granted for the active moiety of the drug PPP001 and not the formulation.”

Can another company patent or conduct clinical trials on the same ailments but use a different THC/CBD mix?
 

I agree totally with leafRider with the exception of the timeline, i think it will happen sooner
