They basically discovered this in December but are telling us about it today, and why the fk is Tetra using product that is certified to GPP standards when pharma is based on GMP certified product. Why the Fk does Guy Chamberland need to look though a miscroscope now on what he's developing into a drug, but not at the phase 1 or 2 clinical trial. This stuff should've already been proven valid prior to the commencing of the phase 3 clinical trial. I'm no scientist, but wake up Guy Chamberland and focus on your CSO role vs. CEO role and you would've already discovered this and made corrective actions prior to today.

I am not at all happy with the process that Guy Chamberland has taken previously to ensure validation of our raw cannabis product. Some will say this goes onto Aphria, and I will agree to some level, but honestly Guy Chamberland of all people should've been running these tests on the dried cannabis product prior to the commencing of the phase 3 clinicals. That is what I'm pissed about, Guy is your CSO and he needs to ensure that he still manages that side of things before his CEO role. Is that what  happened here, I don't know I'm not a scientist, but what does this do for all clinical studies involving PPP001 at this moment? Basically it's a reset button and a whole pile of money wasted on previous clinicals. This could be a delay of over a year for the DIN#. Tetra was nice enough to offer this clarity in the news release. NOT!!!

Clinical trials aren't cheap and readjusting the drug product with product that actually meets the criteria moving forward doesn't sound all that simple to me, and management clearly will need to provide shareholders with clarify on this issue, because as of right now there was a pile of lip service in that initial news post. Don't come to me and act like everything is great in Q1-2019 about your PPP001 clinicals, and then tell us that in december you discovered an impurity in the product itself. Why does Dr. Guy Chamberland feel that he has the power to deliver the bad news whenever it works well for them, honestly we should've known this December, and what we should know right now is exactly what it affects for us, and what kind of delays we may be facing... Which is also a large unknown.

So glad we have basically inked deals with multiple suppliers right now. Rhodes, True North Cannabis, North Bud, lots of suppliers that are geared towards supplying GMP certified cannabis product for pharmaceutical development, the future is bright, we're just going to have wait it out. Guy not so much he's sitting on nearly $20 million cash from the Phyto Pain buyout and then the Aphria purchase Guy's and Andre's $5 million each (or so)...

Clearly Aphria has miss stepped in their abilty to deliver, and right now I'm pretty sure that Tetra managment is asking a pile of questions of their supplier. These are things that the longs will need to look at as setbacks, but honestly it changes very little in the grand scheme. Does it cost us more money, yes, is it going to draw out the timeframe for which we have valid phase 3 clinical trials to establish our DIN#, absolutely how couldn't it. Does this situation test my patience, absolutely. If it tests my patience I can imagine it will test others patience as well, the bids are there tomorrow, but maybe not next week when people realize this will likely add another 8 month phase 3 do-over clinical trial. We don't know any of this because Chamberland chose not to tell us today.

I can take some positives out of this, and that's its highly unlikely any other company out there is dealing with the pharmaceutical hurdles that Tetra Bio Pharma is. It proves that Tetra is focused on the things they need to be in order to eventualy get a DIN# product established with the FDA and Health Canada. This isn't a matter of if but when... Aphria basically gave us $hit product, and they own 19.9% of us at the same time, so it's not exactly a marriage heading for divorce, but moreless a marriage headed for some strict marriage counciling and Aphria standing on their last leg. Having Aphria sell off their TBP shares isn't something any of us is asking for, just that they clean up their act and focus on what's important if you're going to supply pharma's with GMP certified product, you do that. I can assure you Guy Chamberland is pi$$ed right now and so should all of us be, but you can be pi$$ed at Guy as well for not having ran these tests on the product a year ago prior to commencing the clinical trials. Makes no sense why they wouldn't have known this already at this point... Do your job Chamberland!!

So while everything is bascially legit from previous it sounds like we'll need to backtrack and revalidate some components of the PPP001 drug currently our flagship drug amongst many. But, what you need to realize here is that this creates a very nice buying opportunity for most, some people will benefit from this. Those already in a long position not so much, it just gets longer, but the bids are there showing as suppport today in the low 80s, I wouldn't be surprised if someone is there to scoop up these cheap shares and we recover nicely. Am I selling yes you bet I'm selling, anyone it the right mind is selling some TBP today. They messed up, and you sell a few off when $hit like this happens, if you don't then you're just a long with blinders on.

This is just my honest opinion of what took place today. You do what you like with your money, I'm not hear to tell you otherwise, but I'm sure you can tell I'm not at all impressed with Tetra and what appears to be Chamberland's careless disregard for testing his drug product pre-clinical, and these Tetra "pharma" folks better figure this out and disclose what this means to the timeline of PPP001. I'm pretty sure Paradigm Capital isn't at all impressed with this either!

The clinical director for Sante Cannabis says they asked for a DIN in October 2018 and this happened in December? Hmmm. Trying to get my head around the timeline.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=wx9k78gBSD4

Scroll to the 57 min mark. It is in French. So they had already had a request for a DIN submitted for over 2 months before this discovery in December according to this. Can someone in IR clarify this for us?

Good luck with IR you will get nothing but avoidance at the moment. This one stinks bad and they knew it, took them about 40 days to bring themselves to release the news. This could point to what happened when they submitted for the DIN# back in 2018, but didn't really tell us they did. Meanwhile how do we not know if the initial DIN# application was rejected by the FDA because of their findings, we wouldn't know that. They may tell us that in a month when it's fits their schedule.  How can we trust the timing of any NR at this point. Brutal on Guy Chamberland's part.

My "emotions and impatience" has nothing to do with this, when trust is broken it takes effort to repair it, right now I'll wait and see... next up OTC Pharma partner announcement or some US Pharma partner, that's my guess. Up to 1.20 ish and followed by a slow-bleed down into the 50s like last summer. Who is going to buy this pig now? The market cap keeps going up, yet will we ever see north of $2? If you see Guy Chamberland walk from this or entertain a lowball offer fo this company, all I can say is I told you so. Management is focused on management, and nothing more, that's what today's NR told me.

All joking aside. The 2 years ago LeafRider would state that this is amazing for TBP considering it puts them in a powerful position to be at the top when it comes to quality. And that the relationship with health canada will only be strengthened because of this. TBP just seperated themselves from the rest of the pack. You would have said it with more eloquence. Hang in there LeafRider. You know you'll be buying back in hard tomorrow morning :). There is no exit from this but in the 30's. It will take some years. Deep down you know Guy is a genius. This is just freaking frustrating when you live it out every day! Look away for a bit...after you load up with shares tomorrow of course.
