GASFRAC Energy Services Inc. GSFVF

GasFrac Energy Services Inc is an oil and gas service company. It is engaged in providing liquid petroleum gas fracturing services to oil and gas companies in Canada and the United States of America. The company has developed a patented waterless Liquid Petroleum Gas gel that yields higher reservoir production while eliminating concerns over water use in fracturing.

RE: In my opinion

RE: In my opinionThe environmental issue just isn't what is introduced during the frac but it includes the perceived ability to control the fractures created by and during the frac activity. There is concern with the fractures "opening unexpected or unwanted pathways" into potable water formations; this is the case in shallow exploitation programs and is well documented for coal bed methane plays in North America. There is also the concern regarding the massive volume of water used in fracturing and the volume of now contaminated water returning during well clean up. It's a very complex issue with real concerns. For those Canadians on the thread, a website that summarizes and follows the issues pretty is: https://www.bctwa.org/FrackingBC.html . And no I'm not a tree hugger and endorsing the website but it is a good source of biased opinion and fact that should be considered when evaluating an investment. So read on.

However, what excites me is the issue relating to reducing formation damage as the as a hydrocarbon-based fracture program reduces the probability of stimulating reactive clays in the producing interval for all types of formations regardless of depth. Water reacts adversely with formational-clays that are prone to swelling when in contact with water; in simple words the clays swell and reduce the effectiveness of the formation to release the hydrocarbons (both gas and liquids). The GasFrac system reduces the risk of the fracture program. The other benefit mentioned in a recent article is the Gasfrac system has shown benefits for older developed fields as the frac fluid has the tendency to solubilize heavier hydrocarbons like paraffins and asphaltenes. Post frac, the GFS system rejuvinates production and makes the well and formation more profitable. In other words it stimulates the well bore and brings with it increased productivity due to the solvent nature of the light hydrocarbons introduced. There are a number of solvent based tertiary oil recovery systems being tested in the heavy oil regions around Lloydminster Alberta and potentially in the oil sands of northern Alberta.

I've been following GFS for some time now and I'm in the camp that this stock could be a game changer for my net worth.
