It's true that some shorted GSVR knowing that a financing was coming. It's all too common a practice for venture exchange companies. Those that act on inside information do get caught. It's dirty money. If anyone finds anything out be sure to report it to regulators.
From CEO boards:
@Constant In light of our ongoing discussion, I'd like to emphasize that even if the fault does not lie directly with the company, they still bear a responsibility to safeguard their shareholders' interests. This includes refraining from engaging in negotiations with brokers or entities that exploit inside information for illegal profit. Companies cannot control every aspect of market behavior, however they can and should take proactive measures to ensure fair and transparent dealings within their sphere of influence. Collaborating with entities that engage in illicit practices erodes trust among shareholders and investors. It's crucial for companies to uphold ethical standards and prioritize the well-being of their stakeholders above short-term gains that may come at the expense of fairness and legality.
