Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

RE:RE:RE:Message from GBR mgt ?

RE:RE:RE:Message from GBR mgt ?Looks like Goldcorp had multiple assets throughout its history, including this synopsis from 2011:

https://www.companieshistory.com/goldcorp/

As of December 31, 2011, its producing mining properties were consisted of the Red Lake, Porcupine and Musselwhite gold mines in Canada; the Penasquito gold/silver/lead/zinc mine, Los Filos and El Sauzal gold mines in Mexico; the Marlin gold/silver mine in Guatemala; the Alumbrera gold/copper mine (37.5% interest) in Argentina; the Marigold (66.7% interest) and Wharf gold mines in the United States. As of December 31, 2011, its development projects included the Cerro Negro gold project in Argentina; the Eleonore and Cochenour gold projects in Canada; the Pueblo Viejo gold project (40% interest) in the Dominican Republic; the El Morro gold/copper project in Chile; the Noche Buena and Camino Rojo gold/silver projects in Mexico, and the Cerro Blanco gold/silver project in Guatemala.

I couldn't find history going back beyond 1999, but here's a graph of GG from that year to the merger.

Wikipedia is indicating GG was in business since 1994, but I couldn't find historical prices pre 1999.

Here's a  history of shares outstanding:

Based on the highs in the $40s, yes, the market cap reach about $40 billion US.

With so many assets under its umbrella, I am not sure if it would be a fair comparison to Great Bear.  With that said, I think $5 billion USD for GBR is fair.
