CT pretty much said that the Majors prefer a turnkey operation. Buy out Pure Gold, which is about 25km up the road, that has a mill. Expand it and Voila!!

We should have beaten Evolution on the takeover of Battle North and dismantled that mill and dragged it down to Dixie. That mill that must have been worth hundreds of millions and $ 700 Million in losses to carry forward. Evolution got a sweet deal I think. A freind of mine designs conveyor systems that haul ore for copper mines in Chile etc., I'll have to ask if 25 Km's is feasible. Flat

Not sure if the conveyor idea would work. I think Pure Gold's mill has a 800 tpd throughput. The Golden Giant Hemlo mine has a 500 tpd throughput, while Canadian Malartic has 55,000 tpd and Detour Gold has 60,000 tpd. With the conveyor idea, you'd have to expand the Pure Gold mill a heck of a lot. So huge expenses on the conveyor and the mill. Mine production would have to be big, in order

Goaweigh, that is pure popycock.......why on Heavens green earth would anyone sell a producing mine that could very well be netting over one billion dollars per year over a likely hood of 30+ years sell out for 4 billion? At that stage we mine the hell out of it. We would have at that point squeezed all the risk out of the property. Sell price.....if any, would be north of 10 billion. My 2 cents

Can you find me any operating gold mines in Canada that have been sold for anywhere even close to $ 10 Billion. Malartic and Detour have significant reserves but didn't sell for anywhere near $ 10 Billion. But things might be differant in 3 to 4 years, maybe we'll be up and running and making a pile of cash while gold is at $ 2500 or more. Who the hell knows but I'm offering my stock

good to see the SP moving in the right direction again. I`ve used the last couple of weeks to add shares at low prices to my existing high portfolio. no problem to wait another year or more to benefit from the true value of this discovery, since mgmt team is now complete to manoevre in all possible directions.
