Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBDF

Primary Symbol: GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Guess where I'm going

Ivorygull - In Monday's webinar, CT suggested $265 per ounce for in situ gold, assuming favorable circumstances.

With that figure, $4 billion is a little over 15 million ounces.  We'd all love more, but $60 is a pretty solid number.  I wouldn't complain.

That said, here are my assumptions on contained ounces

4200  length
150  width
400  depth
2.7  tons per meter
                       680,400,000            tons of material

now assume 1, 2, 3, grams per ton and divide by 31 to get your ounces

That's the first 400 meters from surface.  I think Cormark assumes .8 grams per ton, but it could be more.

             544,320,000  (.8 gpt)   equals      17,558,710 ounces
             680,400,000  (1 gpt)   equals      21,948,387 ounces
         1,360,800,000  (2 gpt)   equals      43,896,774 ounces
         2,041,200,000  (3 gpt)   equals      65,845,161 ounces
