It's GOld time... Let's just get the Waterton deal closed and finally get some news the market will have to notice.
As per dore pour release, they should have assays for these initial pours (if not subsequent pours) this week at the very latest. Like I have said before, I would be surprised to see these until Waterton deal is formally closed but we'll see I guess. It will be a welcome change to FINALLY see some hard numebrs relating to production at Borealis... even if only for initial pours. As long as they give us some indication things are improving and are expected to improve as was orignially planned back in Oct-Nov then we will be fine. There is no reason to think GGN is not now well it's way to becoming a very profitable junior gold producer. This heap leach process is not easy but it is not rocket science either.
Gryphon Gold completes test production at ADR plant
2012-04-03 10:57 NT - News Release
Mr. James O'Neil Jr. reports
GRYPHON GOLD SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES FIRST TEST PRODUCTION POUR AT ADR PLANT
Gryphon Gold Corp. has successfully completed a test production run at its adsorption desorption recovery plant. The test included the pouring of two dore bars from loaded carbon extracted from the company's Borealis oxide heap leach project. The dore bars have been sent for laboratory testing and full results of the weight and the percentage of gold and silver contained in the bars are expected to be received in the next one to two weeks.
James T. O'Neil Jr., chief executive officer of Gryphon Gold, commented: "This is a significant step forward for our Borealis project as we have overcome the issues that slowed the ADR project start-up. As planned, a successful test pour was made at the end of March that demonstrates our ability to convert loaded carbon into dore bars and this process is expected to provide measurable value for our heap leach production. We expect the ADR facility construction and start-up to be fully completed in the next few weeks, while we continue to process dore bars. Our heap leach process is operating significantly better and the leaching cycle continues to advance, which we believe bodes well for future production."
