Gryphon Gold Corporation is a mine development company. The Company's principal asset is Borealis property. The Borealis Property is 27.5 square miles located in the Walker Lane gold belt of western Nevada. The Company's land position covers approximately 17,600 acres for the Borealis property and over 60 Nevada exploration properties, which cover approximately 70 square miles in the state's gold trends. The Borealis property has approximately 1.4 million ounces of measured and indicated gold resources, and approximately 1.1 million ounces of inferred gold resources have been accredited to the one square mile Central Borealis zone. Its Borealis property has over five other prospective zones that are being explored, which have the potential to host significant gold resources. The Company continued drilling on the Borealis property in the Graben resource, and in the central and western pediment areas.

SGN...

SGN...

Last time I will say it... but I still can't believe the discount GGN trades compared to SGN our very similar Nevada 'sister company'.  SGN market cap of about $100M versus GGN of about $30M.  FYI... SGN only produced about 8100 oz Au during their first 7 months in 2011... that's about 1150 oz Au per month on average... GGN did almost 1400 oz Au in their first month alone.  SGN only owns 70% and does not have their own refinery.  Supposedly their property does not have anywhere near the potential that Borealis does and they are currently in a legal dispute with former 30% owner.  Both SGN and GGN have almost identical deals with Waterton.  The only differences I can identify in SGNs favour would be the level of detail in SGNs NRs, their website is much better, and the fact SGN has been aggressively drilling and reporting favorable results over a number of months.  We lack the detail in our NRs and our website lacks content that's for sure but we are now drilling so maybe things change as they also demonstrate the potential.

GGN should be at about 50 cents just to be at same market cap as SGN.
