""Increasing our solution throughput is the next milestone. Once the additional carbon columns are installed, we expect production and sales to increase."
The company anticipates approval of its application to update its existing water flow permit, which is currently under review with United States Forest Service and the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection, by year-end. The updated permit will allow for an additional set of carbon columns and higher pumping capacity. The carbon columns have been ordered and are being manufactured. Once operational, and pending the closing of the bonding requirement, the operation will have the capacity to handle solution throughput more than double the current solution flow of approximately 1,000 gallons per minute to 2,500 gallons per minute."
With pad expansion complate, conveyors operational, and larger crusher being assembled, it would seem increased fluid flow and increased carbon capacity (extraction) are the final pieces to be added. Both set to be operational by end of December (on conference call we were told permit could come as early as mid-December, i.e. now). Then we start to see increased production and sales. IMO we should see some immediate production impact of adding the 2x fluid flow and carbon column capacity (combined with other expansion efforts). Have often wondered if the fluid flow and carbon capacity may have been a significant limiting factor here re: production. Either way things should continue to get better from here. All we need is confirmation all of these pieces are finally in place.
