OT - Win 10 on my 2 year old acer desktop worked terribly

the first year. It kept crashing.

I made sure I backed it up early 
so if it became inoperable from all the crashes I could put back
on a clone copy of it, that starts up right away. With perhaps 
reinstalling some tempermental programs like microsoft word
suit always seems to be. 

However the crashing didn't effect the performance and operableness
each time I booted up. And it booted up in around 25 seconds, and another 
25 seconds or so after put the password in. Far faster than windows
7 and even 8. 

Then once a month acer kept sending me updates for my video
amd card. Month after month after month, with no improving the 
crashes that would happen about twice a day. 

Then one day after a video card update, around 4 months ago I
started to go day after day after day after day, without a crash. 

I almost missed my crashes because for a year I just had ro reboot
and I marveled how the performance was uneffected and I didn't
have to reinstall the clone backup at all. Which I've done in years
past and is sort of fun, because that works great too, except for 
microsoft word suit and one or two others, but not take long to reinstall
them.

Now my windows 10 comes up in 20 seconds, and another 20 
seconds or so after I put the password in.

So windows 11, whenever you arrive, do your best to make my life
miserable. If you feel lucky enough. Because I'm ready for you, punk.
