Yeah, and the market values have increased further subsequent to your post.  The total is now C$58.2M.

I estimate that it now equates to about 62.5% of HRG's overall Net of Debt and Cash position (assuming that HRG hasn't been using most of the surplus cash for anything other than paying down debt or accumulating it in the bank - although I wouldn't mind if they are using it to improve operations at Taparko and Berezitovy as well).

Another contributing factor in lowering the gap is the strong Cdn $ (and weak US $).  Our debts are in US $, but our Strategic Investments are in Cdn $.  It automatically narrows the gap once you convert over the debt from US $ to match our investment $s (or vice versa for that matter).  For example, the conversion rate was recently 1.1 and now it is 1.0335.
