RE: RE: shutting down the mine........another tahethe whole industry has to sit out the inventory clear out that resulted from the forced lquidation of mid stream holdings. the banks forced these guys to sell stock and the market was flooded for months.
the MArch prices were rebounding nicely due to the massive pull backs in production. if OPEC could co-ordinate supply side economics as well as these guys we would be in real trouble.
the underground deferral was already taken for granted. the 6 week summer shut down was inevitable with guys like BHP cutting 50% - twice the production cut of HW.
