Mine production shutdownsHere is a lesson to the few people on this board who don't really know how the market works. The market anticipates future events. HW's share price already reflects a lot of bad news, that's why it is trading at 50% of tangible book value. Not so strange that the price of HW is up today, on the mine production shutdowns - the bad news is already priced into the stock.
Regarding the comment on Tahera - that mine was never economic. It's share price was always too high and reality eventually caught up with it. HW has the richest diamond deposit in the world, it is the low-cost producer, so it will be profitably pumping out diamonds for many years to come.
So for those with an attention span longer than the nattering gnats out there, I believe HW offers great value here. Others may disagree - so far, they've been wrong. If you have half a brain, the only reason to bash HW on this board is because you are short the stock. Beware of babbling bashers
