I'm going to be that guy. It's because for four years (the time that I've been invested) they've been focusing on PC culture and diversity hires. This includes their previous CSO, COO, and a couple of their lead scientists. Underqualified, but good for brand image in woke culture. On top of that, senior management isn't even in the same province as the lab. This is all easily verifiable information, just Google.
