RE:RE:EB Patent rejected

RE:RE:EB Patent rejected
You should take some time to educate yourself on the patent process, I would suggest visiting uspto.gov and creating an account to track all of the patent applications submitted by a company. In there you can read up on the path/process that an application takes prior to any
approval/rejection. You can also set up your account to be "alerted" when there is a status change on an application you are interested in.

In the meantime, there is a difference between a "non final" and a "final" rejection. Inmed received notice of the non final rejection many months ago and had the opportunity to respond to the examiner with items/references, etc. to be considered prior to making a final determination. They did submit some references for consideration however it appears the examiner didn't feel it added anything to their application so it was rejected. This is known as the final rejection.

The only option you have at this point is to file an appeal with the USPTO patent trial and appeal board (which Inmed most likely wouldn't do because they've known from the start that this application is weak....)

Don't trust me though - do your own DD.
