JE transaction OTC March 24th

Again OTC Transaction on March 24th.
I understand people want to sell their shares...but WHY people are buying it if there is a huge risk of bankruptcy.
Is there someone got an idea when the Court of Texas will hear the cause of the Reverse Charge?

As far as I know, it isn't even scheduled to be heard by the Court of Texas.

Merci Capharnaum, As per my other post, I do believe it might not have a reverse charge in general until energy retailers will suit ERCOT.  What a shame!!!  ERCOT overcharged, everybody are aware and all their customers which is the energy retailers will have to pursue them!!!  GLTA  Gaillard

ERCOT is a nonprofit organisation. According to the House, there was no "overbilling": House Speaker Dade Phelan, R-Beaumont, said in a statement earlier Tuesday that there was “no error” in the operator's pricing and instead called it “a proactive decision.” Phelan also expressed skepticism toward reversing such charges and said doing so “based on disagreement with ...more

Capharnaum,  Well, this House speaker can tweet what he want but he is the only one to do not acknowledge they have a major failure from energy providers who cause a distortion between Offer Vs Demand and in the same time an INCREASE on pricing to the roof.  The question is:  If energy providers didn't have any problem with frozen generator and some running out of fuel, the ...more

Per definition, the House Speaker... speaks for the House. The House of representatives in Texas has 150 seats, so this means he speaks for a majority of those 150 representatives. Saying he's the "only" one is a misrepresentation. As to Governor Abbott, he did a political dance but he hasn't backed the Senate bill (so far). He's conveniently waitting on a resolution from ...more

Capharnaum, I would like to tell you, I don't want to miss respect about the house speaker but lots of people raised the point that ERCOT overcharged for at least 32 hours.  I apologized if you think I missed respect for the house speaker.  I know, it is a huge impact to all energy retailers and ERCOT will face to pursuit from energy retailers, from cities and from others big ...more

ERCOT set the rates forward to the max and the market actors used those rates to operate (provide power, trade contracts, etc). While the decision to set the rates to the max for "allegedly" longer than they should has been questioned, it seems from what I read that ERCOT was legitimate in doing that. It may not have been the best decision, but that doesn't mean that they couldn' ...more
