RE: Going higher but for how long?

RE: Going higher but for how long? How long will the uranium party last? I have owned UEX for 5 months and I almost bought JNN at .68 I am a little concerned about the future price of uranium when I read articles like the one I found at the UXC.com website: Russia has enough uranium to last decades - Rosatom September 9, 2004 4:08pm Europe Intelligence Wire MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Russia has enough uranium to make nuclear fuel for decades to come, a representative of Rosatom, the federal atomic energy agency, told Interfax. Although uranium is in short supply on the world market, Russia's "existing stockpiles and mine production will ensure that the nuclear industry does not experience a shortage of this material, which is needed to make nuclear fuel," the Rosatom source said. World uranium prices have been curving upwards. "In the last few years, world uranium prices have tripled because of the shortage," the source said. Russia's biggest uranium mining enterprises are the Priargunskoye Mining and Chemicals Association from the Chita region, JSC Khiagda from Buryatia and JSC Malyshevskoye Mining Enterprise from the Sverdlovsk region, the source said. Russia is also investing more than $14 million in Zarechnoye, a joint venture that will mine uranium in southern Kazakhstan. "The enterprise will begin efforts to mine and process uranium as early as next year," the source said. The Zarechnoye uranium field, in the Otrar district, is estimated at this stage to contain 19,000 tonnes of uranium. A source at one nuclear industry company told Interfax that Russia uses 5,500-5,600 tonnes of uranium annually to produce nuclear power plant fuel. Harv
