RE: Thanks Chattyc for your expert opinion. I UXC does believe the long term price is important. I was on a tour of URIX's south Texas Vasquez and Kingville Dome operations in early November and had Jeff Combs, President of UXC, give a presentation to the guests. As early has 3 years ago, 30% of western uranium was bought on the spot market. Now it's down to less than 10%. According to Jeff Combs, the less that is bought on the spot market, the better the indication that uranium is an uptrend, as utilities pay higher prices in an attempt to secure longer-term feed. If you receive the UXC newsletter, the long-term price is as prominent as the spot price; however, it is only updated once a month instead of weekly for the spot price. The entire first page of last week's newsletter discussed where UXC though uranium prices were going (spot and long-term). And for whatever reason, most uranium sales are in the fall and spring (starting with the month of February). Look to start seeing some spikes in a few months.
