On    the  company,s  current  mantra  of   applying  all   surplus   cash  flow  to  debt reduction  with   no   driling   program   for   new  wells  and   this   is  the  possible  explanation   for short term   treading  water    stock  price  action.

Everyone looks dimly on oil stocks with less than $500 mil enterprise value. The value of the juniors and majors  must gain first until the value proposition for micro stocks like JOY is more attractive than the more liquid juniors. Considering the volatility of the oil market, there is some doubt that high prices can hold. My opinion is it is very wise to shore up the balance sheet before ...more

JOY;s 2021 program was and is exactly as they stated in their Q3 results, strengthening the balance sheet.  Their 2022 guidance calls for capital expenditures of $36 million through mergers, accretive acquisitions and the possiblilty of expanding their power generation business.  All is shaping up well for 2022.  With oil and gas prices remaining high, Q4 and full year results ...more
