RE:RE:RE:Precarious situation for Minority Shareholders

RE:RE:RE:Precarious situation for Minority Shareholders topdop: I do agree strongly with one point you made about a potetial M&A, that its REALLY tough toi find any qulaity replacments when this type of thing occurs ( bigs buying smalls) . it basically , over time, almost forces one into either:

1. the mid and large caps in order to get a diluted piece of the action ( and much lower returns unless you get in at the bottom of a real trough for cyclicals) . or ...

2. go completely speculative on the junior exploration plays.

A large, high grade deposit restart scenario like KAT is really rare. I can't remember one like it in recent times.

Having said that ... there are other industries one can move your $ into.

Also, with the $ from a GLEN-KAT M&A I pesonally feel  I could do a lot over the 2-3 year span it will take for KAT to reach full prod and the post EV CU + Co markets to reveal themsleves more fully, thus alllowing for a clear "steady state fair valuation" of the Co.. A lot more than the additional 100-200% I might get from my KAT shares by holding onto them.

The one thing that makes me doubt myself is the intense Chinese interest in Li and Co. Those folks play a long game, so it gives the impression perhaps they know stuff we don't re: battery constituent demand and tech substitution possibiities.  But both Chinese corproate and retail investors have more than their fair share of lemmings too ... or perahps they want to own it now, as a stop gap, and will pawn all these companies off on the unsuspecting once they start to se viable alternative technologies.

If an M&A offer comes, I'll probably vote teh way the institutional chinese voters do.
