Let's not pretend anyone has any real idea as to what is going to happen with KAT.  No one really knows Glencore's plans or why there is still a listing.  Buying the rest of the shares would be a rounding error for Glencore yet they don't do it.  Even if they do no one has a shred of real evidence as to their prediction of the buyout price (but it won't be close to 4-5 CAD which seems to be a reasonable price should this thing actually sell/export full production).   

All we know for certain is that if EV's continue to ramp up at this pace and KAT can't sort their cr*p out the cobalt market is going to rapidly go into a deficit.  30kt of average annual production is an enormous volume to pull from the Supply/Demand balance of the market.
