RE:RE:Cobalt price rally to six-month high - $17.5 per lb@lech, @bob. Ore blending is one thing. More effectivelly, it is the interim solution of phosphoric acid precipitation method to remove uranium that works quite well.  Per Glencore conference call last month, KAT had already achieved 90-94% produced cobalt hydroxide meeting the uranium specs with acid precipitation process. Further improvement from that level make you wonder whether the ion exchnage process is necessary.  But I think that they will install the ion exchange system because this will make the process much more robust and make sure 100% cobalt product meeting uranium specs, exactly as Glencore said in their conference call.

Lower production volume of copper and cobalt in Q2 this year was mainly caused by the maintenance issue at EW plant, which had been identified and would be easy to resolve. So I think that KAT and Glencore will hit their new production targets of 12k salable cobalt and 235k copper this year and 30k salable cobalt and 260k copper next year (2020).
