My Glencore memory
a long time ago I bought shares of a company called viterra. I held the stock through thick and thin. It started to do well and before I could make any real money on it, Glencore bought it out for peanuts and made it seem like a good deal to investors. The second Katanga starts to turn a corner Glencore will swoop in and buy it. They have no interest in the stock going up while it is still Katanga, they want the whole thing cheap, they will probably get what they want. That being said I still hold my shares because it is the only decent way to invest in cobalt. Feeling very stupid these days as cobalt has done very well, but Katanga is in the dumps.

They already own the controlling stake - over 80%. What are you talking about? If they wanted to buy the whole farm they would have done it at .20. As always, there is something more interesting going on with this soap opera.
