Looks very solid for a second quarter of real production.
 
$345 M revenue for one quarter
 
ETIBDA of $151 M (the EV/ETIBDA ratio for 2018 shall be less that 8 :)) 
 
Gross earnings of $108 M

After these results, my confidence in KAT has only increased and moreso given most of our *issues* are now firmly in the rearview mirror rather than in front of us. KAT is executing very well: a C1 cash cost of $1.08/lb of Cu is significantly lower than I had expected and shows the opportunity here. Yes, its super frustrating. But I also don't believe we'll see much traction in KAT until the London & NY hedge funds and Generalist funds pile back in. After all, it was them that took us from 20c to $2.80... right now its just the "dog-days" of summer and nobody's paying attention. But massive and growing cashflow will be our calling-card so I'm sitting tight and ...more

Agreed on the strong operating results. Any idea why prices transacted seem to be 70% of the average LMB price? As opposed to Copper, which sold for 80% of average LME price over 1Q18.  Also, I note that they only managed to sell 2 tons (out of 4 tons produced) of Cobalt, which correlates to an increase in finished goods inventory which they allude to in the MDA: "The increase in ...more
