How much longer can this continue?KODIAK INVESTORS GET 61% OWNERSHIP IN COUGAR OIL & GAS
So how is that yesterday KDKN dropped 5% while COUGF rose 7%?
According to SISM research it seems this shouldn't happen and this is what they said recently:
"Buying/owning Kodiak Energy is a cheap way to own Cougar Oil
and Gas Inc. The Company owns 38,076,972 shares of Cougar Oil and
Gas, according to information available on SEC filing. The closing price
of COUGF on Tuesday, October 27th, was $1.65, giving KDKN's shareholding
in Cougar a value of $62.8 million. KDKN Q2 shareholder equity
was disclosed on August 13, 2010 and was $20.6 million. The value
of KDKN's shareholding in Cougar Oil and Gas, plus its shareholder equity,
is $83.4 million compared to a market cap of $11.6 million. Based
on this, one can buy a share of Kodiak for
.105, giving the buyer an
effective
.57/shares of Cougar and
.05/net book value – a combined
value of
.62/share."
I fail to see why or how this can be realised while the apparent inverse relationship prevails
