RE:New Press Release - Kontrol Technologies Wins Multiple New Projects with Liquified Natural Gas Emission Monitoring and Analytics CustomerThe market seems as equally excited about this NR as I am. Not surprising since there are no $ figures to give investors a sense of scale and I figure most are figuring that we are not talking about big bucks when they are not included in the NRs..
Let's assume a $50K annual monitoring service per site, and I think this may be on the high side, but KNR can speak to that. Let's assume a 3-year contract. So, $150K revenue value of the 3-year contract per site.
Just for fun, if I recall correctly, Global was acquired with some $150M-ish order book. To match that revenue, according to the above assumptions, If my math is correct, KNR needs to acquire 1,000 such customers, just over 80 per month. 2,000 if the annual service fee for emission monitoring is $25,000.
Granted, the gross margins on these cannot be worse than Global, so anything beats it. (Not funny.)
BioCloud held promise of billions of dollars in annual revenues. Nada in reality. In comes Global, with its model bringing in a near term total estimated revenue with everything else up to $100M, and grown several fold afterwards. That is vaporizing and seems to be heading to a fraction after the winddown of Global. So now we look forward to these emission monitoring contracts. No scale provided, but I guess we can go to pre-BC and Global days and apply some modest growth rate. Stretching to $20ish million in revenues if things go well?
Can anyone - other than PG - come up with some more exciting outlook to give us hope that this thing is worth more than 40ish cents? Too stubbornly hanging on, even recognizing that this could get uglier before getting better, and getting better in my view does not constitute seeing $1 anytime over the next year or two. Delayed quote showing 1,700 shares traded after the news so far, just for info.
