Does this make sense? In revisiting the short position on WGXRF, I saw that according to the published figures, the short position was recently reduced by about a half million shares.
All the while, the number of shares traded, based on published numbers, were showed to be tiny in comparison.
Is there another way to liquidate a short position other than by buying shares of the stock?
It doesn't make sense to me that the short position was reduced by 1/2 million shares without any shares being recognized as traded in the volume figures.
