I don't know of any gold producers that had a down day besides KRR. Baffling!
And, on big volume.

Yes, it is indeed rather strange. Wonder who is playing the game with us behind our backs this time? Managment needs to come out with a clear statement about whose side they are on!

Really hard to put things into perspective with all that has transpired. It was a very disappointing Q1 but the gold is still in the ground and we are ramping up for significantly higher gold output. The earlier Q1 earnings reports was because of merger talks are underway and both companies and shareholders need to be aware of all aspects of this process and financial aspects. Centerra, Romelius, Soma.,, and Jaguar all had a slighly down day,,Dang,,and i own them all too. At first i thought it was extremely fishy..now just slightly fishy. I find it best to compare any gold miner with the gdx or in this case the GDXJ. We are are doing fine on the 6 month and 1 year charts.  All that said.. I do wonder if some larger players are getting seats on this train by ...more

Apparently KRR was not alone in bucking the trend. Not saying it was based on Karora's announcement, but other miners that have operations in Western Australia suffered the same fate. Share price weakness is being attributed to weather related events. I doubt the producers in question all reported their production numbers the same day. Not sure if it was good luck or bad luck that the news ...more
