What might we expect

With WGX down about 4% overnight, gold presently down about 20 bucks, and more gambling loses,
methinks it might not be a very good day for KRR's SP.
If I recall correctly, last time it was a bad bet hedging, this time a wrong bet on derivatives. Millions in shareholders dough.
I hope the new management sticks to mining gold.

MM: There was no new "wrong bet" on derivatives.  The derivative in question is the same Morgan Stanley Participation Royalty that has been in place since 2020 and will continue until 2035 unless there is a settlement as a result with the Westgold merger. MV, If you are correct regarding the royalty situation, I stand corrected. My bad. I have never been able to find a line item in KRR's financials as to the actual number attributed to royalty payments. One that clearly states 'Royalty Payments' in the expense portion. Triple Flag has the rights to the Beta Hunt royalties at present. Their most recent quarterly statement attributes ...more
