Tailings Pond
Tailings PondI don't know current management so I don't know why they will not mine the tailings. I did talk with previous management and they were well aware of the potential but never acted on it. It is well known that when the mine was operating in the early 80s they left about 1/3 of the AU in the pond...that represents a lot of AU, virtually just sitting there. Does not make a lot of sense to me unless their is a valid reason which I would like to hear. It seems like a "no brainer".
