thoughts on buyout

In my opinion this company will be sold within 1 year.  Management has proven themselves in their ability to find extraordinary properties ( Regalito, Northern Peru, Global Copper), and find buyers for them.  Beaty and company have found more resource at Taca Taca than initially estimated and with copper prices at record levels it would be in the best interest of large producers to act quickly.  Taca Taca may in fact be the most valuable property of all the original Lumina Copper properties.  This is good news for shareholders as two of those properties were sold off for north of 400 million.  In the past (Northern Peru,Global Copper) we have seen a fairly quick run up in the share price before a take out is announced.  It would seem like anything less than 350 million would be a complete steal for Lumina and believe the price may ultimately be closer to 600 m.  Honestly, I expect a rise in the share price before the company attends a conference Toronto in early March.  Good luck to all shareholders.

All great points. I'm tired so I'll make it short and sweet. LCC will be at $7.00 by the end of the month.Helios

You just talked out any new investors from buying LCC, with the standard 30% TKO "uplift." At to-day's price, that's a $7.50 share price, then let's all run up the flag of the People's Republic of China. We're here on these Jr. miners looking for a 4-bagger, not a mere 30% rise in price after the TKO. Any more bright ideas, yopeace?

Who said anything about a 30% take out premium from this price?  Not me.  As for your 4- bagger comment, not likely from this price buddy.
