Alpha is acquiring the technology from defunct Urthecast, pronounced Earth-cast. Urthecast spent $65 million developing its technology. The company was a little early to the space market, but it also had two technologies for imaging, one optical-based and one radar-based. It decided to focus on optical imaging. and the markets never developed.


Just can't help but feel like we been had.
