RE:RE:RE:Dividend

RE:RE:RE:Dividend You are welcome. I just took a position after researching with the help of Nawar. I think there is a excellent chance that the dividend can be maintained while they slowly begin to grow production due to price deck improvements. However, base production has low decline and there are lots of drill opportunities to replace the decline while keeping total payout at or below cash flow even if it does not improve markedly.

I am a little less exuberant about the improved discount and wti price, these things can be a result of temporary flow adjustments, and certainly the futures on WTI show backwardation. I also read this morning a report by TD concerning gas prices and a widening discount on CDN gas, now 91 cents, due to toll increases on a TCP line to the east and a resultant backlog of gas in storage as producers are reluctant to pay the toll. All to say that only time will tell if price improvements are sustainable.

Lastly the nature of the assets make for an excellent acquisition for some of the new, existing and wannabe dividend payers. On the other side Advantage's stake may well be floated due to their cash needs. I am not investing for this purpose, but sometimes the roll-up to acquirer stock can be quite interesting.
