Tepid reaction to great results

I was expecting LNR to go up more than this today. Q1 results were great. The stock is up only 8.5%. Anyway, I'm holding long term, so for me it is more important that LNR makes good profits than to have the stock price go up.

It is curious to me what it will take for the market to see that the company is no longer just an auto parts manufacturer and price it accordingly. The story of the shift in capital allocation to a more stable stream of cash flow and being a brand manager has been in the market for a little while. Management is starting to do a better job of highlighting this but it coudl still take some time ...more

8.5% in one day is TEPID ??? Sheesh! Not expecting much are we? ;););) It was a good news story about performance....not the news of a take-over! I'm a fan of this Canadian story...I'll gladly hold onto to it. There's another 10 bucks a share coming in the next year IMO. I remember when all this outfit made were car parts.
