RE: clean coal tech

I don't know how much progress was made over what period of time with EPA and cost acceptable clean coal technology, but it does appear to me to be getting verg close to commercial implementation. One reason why is not only from the Ohio article Race posted here the other day and others before by Sharpei regarding Chinese technology, but because complicated software now days serves to exponentiate innovation and development. We might just wake up one morning and find there is a front page article about such a viable development on every newspaper in the world. I remember we used to think Russia was the second largest financial and military power in the world until one day in 1992 we read on the front page of every large newspaper that it collapsed and its perceived power was a mere illusion (now I expect bar will most likely correct me a bit here)>
