Don't know for sure, cybertron, but I generally agree with what Bar said.

I sent an email to LLEN's IR department, telling them that they are being controlled by options traders, and that if they are going to release significant news, they should do it as close to options expiration day as possible.

 

I also said that instead of releasing the 3Q report on Tuesday, they should have filed late in the trading day on Thursday, then held the CC right after the open on Friday. That might have kept the volume and price high enough going into the close that we wouldn't have seen what we saw, and that the options crooks would have then had to buy into the ask to cover the in-the-money calls.

 

I wrote that I didn't need a response, but if I get one, I'll let you all know.
