But just one more point, and seriously try to imagine the size and scope of the economic collapse that would have been. Just try to imagine how much more crime we would have, the need for more police (which already comprise 1/3 of many municipalities' budgets), the need for more prisons which cost us $100 plus per day per inmate... Imagine yourself a victim of a brick over the head and your money and car stolen on your way to the casino.
