DC:  Tactics of fear, uncertainty and doubts (FUD) is always deployed by bashers.  When bashers seem to know something you don't, they are creating uncertainty.  People would then have doubts about what they are going to face and self create fear towards the 'potential negative consequences'. 
The way I would deal with this situation is to assess the extent of potential damages the suspicious coal washing business (revenue & profit) in the worst case. How that affects the top and bottom line and thus EPS, as well as the legal obligation the company will be facing,   Let's say if all these will likely lead to a heavy blow (delist or most EPS be ruined) to the Company, you may as well want to cut loss and move on; otherwise, reduce your exposure to such level that you can sleep thru the night.  I myself have reduced 70% of my exposure and sold some this morning at 1.40.
