Faster Sill Development..Explanation..

It is rather simple...sill is a mining term...for lay people it is basically a
tunnel underground...they are blasted out to develop a highway to get to the higher grade stopes.  Now if the tunnels contain ore it will be processed accordingly in the mill...if it is waste rock it will be removed to gain access to ore either in the drift(tunnel) or in the stopes.  The waste rock will be brought to surface or backfilled into past production areas as associated with the mine sequence.

In the recent past they drilled and blasted "rounds" of 2.4 metres for each crew per shift in the sill development process...that is considered "short" by any standard.  The crew on the eight hour shift would only drill the face of the sill to a length of 2.4 metres...then load the multiple holes that were drilled with blasting agents...the rounds can only be blasted at shift end when no one is around for safety purposes and allowing enough time for the "smoke to clear"...afterwords the mucking crew will come in and remove the ore or waste accordingly.  The advancement for that day would only be 2.4 metres for that particular sill...very slow to advance ahead to the higher grade stopes..something had to change.

Now...they are presently drilling and blasting rounds of 3.6 metres per shift...I think you get the picture...get moving!  Any attempt to go further at this time is not recommended...they do not know the deposit well enough which would lead to extreme dilution and a significant drop in head grade to the mill...they did that already!  They have to find the sweet spot.

As for the mining contractor...they are basically an employee and do what they are told.

All the best!

P.S.  I am waiting to see what the financing looks like...I might purchase

i have been in this for about 3 years and just averaged down slightly but it looks to me like we will get a share consolidation if grades dont improve VERY SOON. if they need more money that will put us above 500 million shares. New money may want a share consolidation and warrants to manage the risk. just my opinion...............glta

mgt. one would believe has known this problem(no gold as per feasibilty study)for a long time yet would not tell the investing public.......in this time period if there was a chance of more financing they would have gotten it done....find a lot of gold now or they are done.....maybe give national bank a call and see if they would take it....something like biden and saudia arabia

Digger, thanks for the comment on faster sill development. When I read the development footage numbers previously I thought they were half of what they should be.  I still am not sure if they are sill mining with jack legs or one boom jumbos . Can I assume they are using 2 yard scoops?
