Top Holders

Eric Sprott is not the largest holder of Pure Gold. With AngloGold Ashanti holding a large position I would think their expertese would suggest that this mine site has huge future potential. Lots of big players here. They are not in the business to lose. If you were Anglo, what would you do? What is in your best interest?  Sprott Assett as well IMHO.

interesting see mark odea with 15 mil shares.....next step probaly is creditor protection imho and then bankruptcy.....they blew through 30 mil preety fast....underground mining must have produced very low amounts gold..the previous news release sounded a little encouraging and then they drop this.....

1 of 2 things will happen here.   1.  they go into bankruptcy protection and they will attain financing from usually one of the large holders who will demand a massive amount of equity for the loan.  If they get financing, the creditor's debt will also be partially or totally turned to equity as well to clean the balance sheet.   In this case, common ...more

Can someone explain the large volumes of shares being traded if the shares are worthless ?  why are people buying millions of shares  I understand why people are selling

Gaserx2 I think we are thinking in the same box. It might be wishful thinking , but I let my last 800k CAD go down to f all. Did Anglo sit aside and just watch this all happen in order to snag it up cheap. Is it Anglo scooping up the millions of cheap shares right now? It would only make sense. That or Evolution.  Think about it this is a very desireable asset that is basically turn key ...more

It's pretty common.  there is no real short covering because the stock has been "unshortable" for some time due to its price, but it's retail buying.  Many retail investors ( especially in penny stocks) are unsophisticated investors that are really just gamblers and don't understand what is happening or what they are doing.  They often see this as " cheap ...more

Are you 110 % positive it's retail that are buying all these shares , seems unusual to me , not sure so I'm fishing for something that makes sense , thanks
Comment by cashtango00 on Oct 26, 2022 10:38am
not sure why you think it's unusual.  block holders/institutional money know what's happening and aren't buying/ putting up financing until they clean up the corporate structure if at all.   If a block holder saw any value, they would be buying hand over fist, they aren't.  The company knows they aren't getting financing.  They have begged for months ...more
