Looks like we sold our SE Sask land at a good time.
I see SM Energy bought 61,000 net acres in the N Dakata Bakken from Baytex. ,
Much higher yeilding Bakken/Three Forks land than is evedent in SE Sask.
Price is similar to our conventional SE Sask sale to Crescent Point.
3,200 boed at $111,600 per flowing boe
61,000 net acres.
$20.09 per boe of proved plus probable reserves (including
future development costs of $718 million).
Ours was 3,300 boed at $114,700 per flowing boe
76,000 net acres.
$33.74 per boe of proved plus probable reserves (including
future development costs of $67 million).
The land we sold was spread out all over the place in SE Sask./Manitoba
The land Baytex sold was a nice tight grouping.
