We all remember that back in 2008 and 2009.
Of course then the DOW was not at 18,000 and the TSE near 15,000. The venture was at 680 or so and we are near that now. So we know what has taken a hit. There is talk of the DOW breaking 20,000 in the new year as the gap between it and the TSE widens. Usually could depend on 2000 point difference. Not anymore. One thing is for sure, energy is needed. Say what they will, oil and natural gas will be here for some time yet. Remember, the Arab countries can still pump oil from that sand cheap while they punish the US and Canada with new discoveries and the oil sands. Like the NEP of the Trudeau years, this will also pass.
