RE:RE:RE:short downside versionI also believe there was some serious tactical play by announcing in the press that they were interested in the asset.

It does seem as though CPG wanted to force LTS's hand on this one. Maybe they are trying to get the banks (LTS's banks) to put pressure on management and accept a deal to pay off all this debt.

Oil prices are slowly going back up. I expect $65 by the summer as we see North American production being curtailed further...that should do the trick to have a decent asset sale.

But yes, I want a full sale of the firm...happy to take some CPG shares for my LTS stake, or cash. Anything above $4 would be OK for me (big loss but still OK). The assets are worth a lot but this team is destroying it at a rapid clip. Let's see what the bank deal yields. It could give a 10% pop to the stock if not too constraining.
