RE:RE:oilman...raging river is better than surgeWhile you might be very good at market timing, there are some examples of long-term overperformance in the sector: Apache, Exxon, EOG, etc. All multi-decade multi-baggers...

The volatility is nuts these days and you can probably make some nice runs up and down. Just so hard to time these things.

Surge is a great name. RRX is an excellent company too, with a slightly higher growth trajectory than Surge. The stock is not far off its record highs of last summer and that is why I am less interested. Market definitely assigns a premium to high quality names with low debt and good acreage. That is why I am still surprised by the "discount" Surge is offering right now. If the discount continues, I would not be surprised to see Crescent come sniffing around...in any case, I will keep accumulating.
